Service Description: Edwards Aquifer Contributing Zones polygon file created from modeled boundaries (2003 LIDAR) and customized boundaries based on contours, drainage infrastructure, City of Austin Plans and staff knowledge. Edwards Aquifer Recharge Zone based on the adoption of the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TECQ) Recharge Zone Boundary, defined in September of 2005. 22 Minor Aquifers as defined by the Texas Water Development Board (TWDB). Updated December 2006. 9 Major Aquifers as defined by the Texas Water Development Board (TWDB). Updated December 2006.
